Please refer to our route map to see a list of stops we serve throughout Edinburgh. You can also look out for our Bright Orange buses and friendly team. You can also spot our logo on each bus stop we service.
You can buy tickets on our website here following which your ticket will be sent to your email address ahead of your trip. You can also buy tickets from our friendly team when you arrive in Edinburgh, find us on and around St Andrew Square, Waverley Bridge and Waterloo Place (where our tour begins).
Tickets can also be purchased on the bus from your driver. We accept many cashless payment options, including contactless card payments, WePay, AliPay as well as chip and pin credit & debit card payment. We also accept cash payments.
Local fares are also available, ask your driver for more information and prices.
With so much in Edinburgh to explore, it’s easy to see why our two tours combo ticket is a bestseller – hop on and off of both tours as much as you like over 48 hours! If you don’t have as much time, why not try out our 24 hour single tour ticket options and pick from either the City or Britannia tour.
Please note that your ticket will be activated when you board the bus or activate it with a member of our sales team when you arrive.
If you’re looking to book for a group of 10 or more then get in touch by emailing us at info@brightbustours.com and our team will sort everything for you. We even offer a 10% discount for large bookings, meaning one ticket is on us!
You don’t have to select a date of travel when you book a ticket, and these do not have an expiry date, so your ticket is valid to redeem when you arrive in Edinburgh. Once you board our tour, your ticket is redeemed and will expire at the end of your chosen validity period.
Yes! If you have a valid student matriculation card you are eligible to buy one of our student tickets, at a reduced rate to our Adult Tickets.
As well as full time students, customers over the age of 60 are also eligible to our concession tickets. Please let us know if this applies to you – to us, you don’t look a day over 30!
Our City Tour operates every 15 minutes, with the last tour departing Waterloo Place at 17:00 – view the hop on hop off timetable for more info. Our Britannia Tour operates frequent buses all day, with the last tour departing Waterloo Place at 16:00 – view the hop on hop off timetable for more info.

Yes, our buses are fitted with a ramp for access on all tour buses which the driver can pull out when required. There is a dedicated space on each bus for wheelchair users.
We encourage it! Well behaved furry friends are welcome on board the tour.
Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by an adult. An adult fare will be charged to anyone aged 16 – 59 unless they have a valid student/matriculation card.
Children under 5 travel free of charge! Sometimes we run promotional offers for free travel for under 16s, Follow our socials to keep up to date with our current offers. Terms and conditions may apply.
